😡🤬 MY BOYFRIEND CAME HOME SMELLING LIKE A WOMAN???

I mean... he did choose some smells from the Women's section at Scentopia. Finding unique date ideas in small Singapore isn't always easy, which was why I was so happy to have gotten a great deal on tickets to Scentopia at Sentosa!

Just a stone's throw away from Beach Station, you can explore the wonderful world of aromas by joining Scentopia's innovative touchless perfume-making bar.

Firstly, we did a 6 question quiz to determine our perfume personality, from 6 different types, including citrus and floral!

Next, we chose 6 scents based off the test. With 200 scent oils to choose from between the men's and ladies' section, we were absolutely spoilt for choice! To be honest, my head was spinning by the time I'd smelt my 9th scent wand, so it was very thoughtful that they had small tins of coffee available for us to clear our sinuses (it helped that I love coffee too, but not so much for my boyfriend LOL).

After that, the staff helped us to mix the scents to see if we liked the combination! The area to pump our little sample cups with the different scented oils was so cute 🥹🥹.

When we were satisfied with our final product, we brought our final list of scents to the counter where another staff member helped concoct our customised perfumes in an intricately carved 30ml perfume bottle. He even wrote our names on the perfume boxes! After looking at how lovely his handwriting was, my boyfriend asked me on the way home if I thought that a handwriting test was part of the recruitment process for Scentopia employees...

It was a great date activity especially because I'm always super particular about the perfumes I use! Furthermore, as I can be very sensitive to extremely saccharine or overly musky perfumes, my boyfriend genuinely never knows what type to surprise me with 😭😭
