the horror game series no one knows

i’ve always been a fan of mobile point and click horror games and discovered this one years ago and have been obsessed. the series is released by a company named rusty lake with the initial games being titled “cube escape.” those games follow a detective named Dale Vandermeer who is investigating a murder; however, it is not what it seems and involves something way… darker with forces beyond his comprehension such as memory altercation, cultism, sacrifice, and the cost of immortality.

the lore of these games is extensive and even as someone who has bought the pay-to-play games and played the series three times over, i still don’t understand the full lore. if you love solving mysteries and want to engage in a mostly free horror games series, i cannot recommend this enough!
