The Better Half - another level of Pastry!

Hey attention to all dessert lovers (just like me) out there! My first food sharing/review in Lemon8 have to be pleasantly dedicated to this petite and cozy dessert shop!

🌭Cakes I tried, Price, Rating:

1. Rose Raspberry (highly recommended!) $5

A cake with a rose aroma, topped with rose petals and crushed pistachios. Raspberries are mixed into the cream, which leaves a light taste after the rich flavor, it's too wonderful.

2. Lemon 🍋 (Got a full 6inch cake for bday!) $65

the perfect level of lemon taste from the sponge cake to curd filling and buttercream wakes up your taste buds and balanced out the sweetness of the cake. The cake is with delicate and soft texture, melted in your mouth within few seconds.

Will definitely go back for the other cakes!

🛋Ambience & thoughts:

Just like its name, where the owners, a young & lovely couple, are each other's "better half". Their pastry made of ordinary ingredients, but the couple magically mix them together to create extraordinary taste experiences.

The whole cafe is lit with warm lights and decorations. You will be greeted with a smile and a nod when you enter. It feels fullest warm, and instantly transported me back to Korea. This is definitely one of my favorite cafes!
