Got my First Bible, Now What?

Most of us want to get closer to Jesus, but have no idea how. We know we must read the Bible, but how? It is completely natural to feel overwhelmed by all the books in it and feel lost.

However, lucky for you my grandfather is a Pastor and he shared with me the best way to start reading the Word of God (in his experience and knowledge).

* Remember to ALWAYS pray before reading and ask The Holy Spirit to give you understanding and wisdom.

*Seek for a mentor who can help you answer questions about the Scriptures. It can be someone in your church or a family member who you trust that follows Jesus and reads/ study the Bible themselves.
