Instagrammable cafe at Tanjong Pagar

I went to this cafe called Plain Vanilla few weeks ago. It’s located near MRT, so we walked there which is pretty nice with the breeze (of course it’s hot😫, but worth it)

The place itself is like a neighbourhood cafe with good lighting and aesthetic. For those who are looking for aesthetic yet quiet cafe, this is the one for you. Their cupcakes are very popular, and they have a variety of choices for brunch too, from pastas, burgers to acai bowls.

I chose to go for the basics, Aglio Olio and backed potato with truffle. The pastas in their place are unique! Even Aglio Olio is like kinda thick and creamy due to cheese overload. It’s very different from the usual pastas.

Also, one thing to note, their portions are quite big, and you can order like small/regular size for appetiser. Their baked potato with truffle is so good, toning down the cheesy Aglio Olio.

Sadly, I couldn’t try the cupcakes as I was too full with the pastas and the smoothie. Oh yea, you should try their smoothie too, if I remember correctly, they only have like 2-3 smoothies.

They also have a little corner where they sell wine, handcrafts and stuffs.

Overall, I would give 4.5/5 for Plain Vanilla.
