How To Make Paper Bag Snowflakes

I’ve been doing some holiday crafting lately and I love finding easy and inexpensive ideas to dress up my home for the Christmas season. One of my favourite DIY’s to do nearly every year is these simple paper bag snowflakes.

You can buy them in packs from the dollar store, and all you need is a little hot glue and some scissors to complete them!

Glue together 7 paper bags, one at a time using a T shape of hot glue and secure them to one another. Once they’re all attatched cut out a V shape on the open end. You can add in more intricate cuts along the side for different designed snowflakes.

Once you’ve finished, use a hole puncher to make a small hole to thread in a string. I used a thin cotton string tied gently to the bag, and tied to a clear tack on the other end. Grouping a few together and hanging them from the ceiling for a fun winter bouquet.
