Here is the perfect itinerary for spending 4 days in Paris , including affordable travel options because you know your girl is on a budget and some of the best restaurants and coffee shops that I tried while I was there.
✨Day 1
• Start the day with a croissant and coffee at Du Pain et des Idées. There is nothing better than this!
• Visit the Eiffel Tower and take a stroll along the Seine river
• Have lunch at Le Comptoir du Relais, a cozy bistro in the Saint-Germain neighborhood
• In the afternoon, visit the Musée d’Orsay and the Louvre
• For dinner, try some traditional French cuisine at Chez L'Ami Jean. It was the best food I've ever had.. seriously. I may be biased because I had just gotten ENGAGED.
✨Day 2
• Start the day with a coffee and pastry at Claus, a charming breakfast spot
• Visit the Notre Dame Cathedral and Sainte Chapelle
• Have lunch at Le Bouillon Chartier, a classic Parisian brasserie with affordable prices
• In the afternoon, explore the Montmartre neighborhood and visit the Sacré-Cœur Basilica
• For dinner, try some delicious French wine and cheese at Le Baron Rouge. You can find this anywhere but this place is 10/10.
✨Day 3
• Take a day trip to the Palace of Versailles
• Have lunch at La Table du 11, a cozy restaurant near Versailles
• In the afternoon, visit the Père Lachaise Cemetery
• For dinner, try some French-Japanese fusion cuisine at Abri. Something a little different but worth the visit.
✨Day 4
• Start the day with a coffee and croissant at Café Kitsuné, a trendy coffee shop in the Palais Royal neighborhood. This place was sooo cool!
• Visit the Luxembourg Gardens and the Catacombs of Paris. Legendary spot to say the least.
• Have lunch at Le Petit Cler, a charming bistro in the 7th arrondissement. Worth the wait.
• In the afternoon, visit the Centre Pompidou
• For dinner, try some delicious French seafood at Clamato. I am allergic to seafood but I hear this place is amazing!
✨✨✨To save money on transportation, consider using the metro or walking to the different attractions. The best part about Paris is that it is very walkable. Also- Remember to book tickets in advance for popular attractions to avoid long lines because trust me they get very long.
