On track to 500k ✨ How to budget

How I budget when I first started. The very first step is to get started and find out these numbers:

- What is your GROSS income

- Work out what is your 4-2-1-2-1 in numbers

- Write down every single recurring expense you have per month. Phone bill, mortgage, car payment( that’s a discussion for another day), Utilities etc.

- Transfer your 40% Needs to a separate account - you will ONLY spend from this account

- Are you contributing to each category at the moment? Be true to yourself

- What are the gaps in each category? If there are, it also means there are overspending in another category. What’s that? 🥂🌟

With the new year, this is a perfect chance to make this your resolution. If you need more ideas, here's mine ❤️
