5 things I wish I knew before booking a self-shoot

Thinking about how you can celebrate your birthday, anniversary, or Halloween?  A self-shoot studio might be the best choice! This is also perfect for those who have content lined up and searching for a place where they can execute their visions.

Last August 31, I turned 21 and I celebrated it by booking a self-shoot studio. It is named “A Studios.” They offer different packages; the price depends on the prints and soft copies you would get. Their rate starts at 500 pesos. In my case, I chose Package 2- Solo or Duo (Special) which costs 800 pesos. I get to have soft copies of all my pictures. I think there’s no limit on the number of pictures as long as you took it within their time limit of 30 minutes. I also had 2 strip prints and 2 4r prints of my choice.

Although I had a lot of fun, there are still some things I wish I knew before going into the studio to maximize the experience. Here are my struggles on my first self-shoot studio experience:

1.    My cake was dropped so we spent 5-10 mins cleaning it up

2.    I ran out of poses ideas

3.    My outfit didn’t turn out the way I envision it

4.    Printed out pics aren’t my favorites

5.    Lack time for my last set
