BookTok really did me dirty with this recommendation.
Tell me why everyone was hyping Icebreaker up, but it was the most painful read I’ve had in a while. The characters were so bland and there was absolutely no plot. The spicy scenes were alright, but definitely not worth 400 pages of my TIME AND EFFORT.
The nicknames for these characters were so cringey and forced to me. Please let me know if your name is Lola and people call you “Lols” for short, I will stand corrected.
I found myself hoping the main characters would just die.
Overall I give this 1 star and I may never trust a BookTok recommendation ever again🙃
