allow me to reintroduce myself 😉

i made this video because i was pretty stoked about my sweatshirt. i love books, especially books with mental health representation and the fact that reading has helped my mental health.

but i almost talked myself out of posting it.. why? you may ask.. here's why..

i started overthinking and saying things like, "this is so silly, who cares about your sweatshirt and people are going to think you're weird"

and you know what? those aren't good reasons to NOT post, so here it is!

oftentimes, we get in our heads that we're not good enough, that our insecurities will show, that we're not going to show up "perfect" and that's why we don't make the move..

that's why we don't want to show up and most times, DON'T show up.

nobody said those things about you - you did.. or i did, in this case. lol.

instead of hiding behind your insecurities, embrace them. those "flawed" things about you, makes you unique.

and if you don't remember anything i said, remember this - God didn't make a mistake when he made you.

read that again. 😏😉
