what about you?

i love to read but what i don’t love is spending crazy amounts of money on books that i’ll only read once, so KU (9.99), Libby, the Library and Hoopla are your girl’s best friends. lol. but of course, no shade to the ones that do.

i don’t listen to audiobooks because i find that i’m less interested but that doesn’t mean i won’t keep attempting and may even try to listen to the audio while reading the book.

i use Notion to track my reading, Goodreads to leave my rating and StoryGraph for my overall stats. i don’t leave reviews on Goodreads because reviews are subjective and i just like discussing my thoughts on this platform, instead.

i have a master tbr where i add any recommendations to and i choose books based on my mood

most books i read aren’t popular and are books i find on the platforms mentioned earlier - it gives me the opportunity to find new authors i wouldn’t have otherwise

i will definitely DNF a book if i’m not feeling it, i’m a mood reader and if i’m not in the mood, i don’t finish. but there is still a possibility i’ll revisit the book

i don’t collect books as i am more of a minimalist and honestly, reading books and collecting books are two different hobbies (imo).

i read multiple books at a time because i also read nonfiction books and i have a hard time staying committed, so reading nonfiction and fiction at the same time just works.
