I’m a 34-year old mom of two (with another on the way) and I’m totally bummed out by the way online millennial mommy culture has become one giant negative feedback loop.

Everywhere I look — I see memes and GIFs and Reels and Tiktoks about how miserable being a mom is — and every time I see it, they ALMOST convince me that it’s true.

Because it’s true — it’s hard.

It’s true — I’m tired.

It’s true — this gig is pretty thankless at times.

But you know what else is true? It’s really, really fun.

I love it — and I like it too.

So — to tip the online scales in the other direction — I’m shining a light on the good stuff and what’s helped me find it.

The sweet moments.

The little wins.

The fun and the funny.

Not to cancel the hard or to pretend it’s not there — I’ll show that too 😜 — but to remind you that liking motherhood is possible even in the midst of it.
