If you are a fan of both brownies and cookies, you’re going to love this recipe🤤 Brookies are the perfect combo of a rich, fudgy brownie base topped with a soft, chewy cookie layer😍

Ingredients:

For the brownie:

• 1/4 cup creamy almond butter

• 1/4 cup cacao powder

• 1/4 cup of avocado oil

• 1 tsp of vanilla extract

• 1/2 tsp baking soda

• 1 cup of almond flour @bobsredmill

• 1 egg

• 1/2 cup of coconut sugar

• 3 tbsp of maple syrup

Cookie layer:

• 1/4 cup of almond butter

• 1/4 cup of avocado oil

• 1 tsp of vanilla extract

• 1 egg

• 1 cup of almond flour @bobsredmill

• 1/2 tsp of baking soda

• 1/2 cup coconut sugar

• 2 tbsp of maple syrup

• 1/2 cup of chocolate chips

Instructions:

For the brownie:

1. In a mixing bowl, combine all the dry ingredients

2. In another bowl, combine all the wet ingredients

3. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until smooth. Set aside.

For the cookie:

1. In a mixing bowl, combine all the dry ingredients

2. In another bowl, combine all the wet ingredients

3. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until smooth. Set aside. Add the chocolate chips and fold until well combined.

Assemble:

1. In a prepared baking dish, add the brownie mixture and spread until evenly distributed.

2. Add the cookie mixture on top, and spread until creates an evenly layer on top of the brownie. Sprinkle more chocolate chips if desired.

3. Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes. Check at 20 minutes. Top cookie should be golden brown but still a little bit soft.
