My go-to recipe for those nights when I want something easy, healthy and delicious✔️
Ingredients:
• 2 chicken breast, diced
• 1/2 medium onion, cut into squares
• 1 bell pepper, cut into squares
• Salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika and avocado oil (seasonings for the chicken)
• 2 tbsp of ghee or avocado oil
• 1/4 cup of chopped Green onions, for garnish
For the sauce:
• 1/4 cup of soy sauce
• 2-3 tbsp of honey @localhivehoney
• 3 tbsp of sweet chili sauce
• 1 tbsp of hot sauce @yellowbirdsauce
• 1 tsp of cornstarch
• 2 tbsp of water
Instructions:
1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, hot sauce, honey, cornstarch and water until smooth. Set aside.
2. Season the chicken with the seasonings listed above, in a large pan over medium high heat, add 1 tbsp of ghee or avocado oil. Cook chicken until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same pan, add 1 tbsp of ghee or avocado oil, sauté the onion and bell pepper for 3-5 minutes. Until slightly soft but still crisp.
4. Being the chicken back to the pan, pour over the sauce and toss until well coated. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the sauce thickens and everything is heated through.
5. Serve over white rice, garnish with chopped green onions and enjoy!🌶️
