Enjoy the pumpkin season with this easy homemade pumpkin bread

RECIPE

Dry Ingredients:

• 2 cups Flour

• 1 cup Sugar

• 1/2 cup Brown Sugar

• 2 tsp Baking powder

• 1/2 tsp Salt

• 1 tsp Cinnamon

• 1/2 tsp nutmeg

Wet ingredients:

• 2 Eggs

• 1 cup Pumpkin Purée

• 1 cup Milk

• 1/2 Melted Butter

• 1/4 cup Coconut oil

• 1 tosp Vanilla

• 1/2 cup Walnuts (Optional)

Cream cheese frosting:

• 80z (226g) Cream Cheese

• 1/2 cup powdered sugar (you can add more, depending on your taste)

• 1 tosp Vanilla Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F

2. In a large bowl, mix all dry ingredients.

3. In a medium bowl, mix all wet ingredients.

4. Gradually add the wet ingredients mixture to the dry ingredients until just combined. Add the walnuts and mix again. Be careful not to over mix.

5. Pour the mixture into the loaf pan, I like using baking paper sheets to prevent from sticking. If you don't have any, Grease and flour your pan.

6. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 45min to 1 hour. Or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

7. Allow the pumpkin bread to cool in the pan.

8. Add your homemade cream cheese frosting and walnuts.

9. Slice your homemade pumpkin bread and enjoy!

For the cream cheese frosting:

1. Allow the cream cheese to come to room temperature. This will ensure a smooth and creamy frosting.

2. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese using an electric mixer or a stand mixer. Beat on medium speed until the mixture is smooth.

3. Add the vanilla extract

4. With the mixer on low speed, gradually add the powdered sugar, and beat until well combined.

5. Continue mixing the frosting until it becomes smooth, creamy and free of lumps. Taste the frosting and adjust the sweetness to your liking.
