My Top Romance Reads This Year!

This book had me so ready for summer! Emily Henry can do no wrong.

Welp, it's official. Augustus Everett is my new book boyfriend. But seriously, Gus was the perfect balance of a realistic, commitment-phobe, cute boy next door and literary romantic hero. Fluffy romance writer, January Andrews (and myself), didn't stand a chance. While I wouldn't consider this a slow burn, it definitely was not a rushed romance. The banter between the two was great and rather comedic. Their chemistry was *chefs kiss* and just steamy enough without being too smutty. If you're a fan of books with happing endings, you'll love this read.

Oh my, this was the cutest hallmark-esque romcom I think I have ever read! I loved it! Annie, the FMC is so relatable as a fellow introvert. Will, the MMC and love interest was incredibly charming and almost too sweet for being a stereotypical "bad boy" &) I did not realize that this followed after the events of the authors previous book When In Rome. This has lovable characters, tight family vibes and a small southern town where everyone knows everyones business. It almost reminded me of Gilmore Girls with the town meetings and petitions ) Don't expect any spice, besides a lot of make out sessions. But other than that, this was a fantastic, light hearted rom com with plenty of witty banter and wholesome characters.
