MONDAY RESET

**Monday Reset**

I use Mondays for my reset days because Sundays are saved for church, relaxation, and family!

Here's what my Monday morning resets look like:

* I start with coffee, of course. Check out my new espresso machine! I always make sure to clean it thoroughly when I'm done (peace of mind).

* Next, I journal, read, and think. I journal about my days or thoughts that I've had recently. Something that happened over the weekend or the week before. I usually read a self-help book or a philosophy book. I'm currently reading *Virtuous Minds*! And, of course, the Bible.

* Dishes are up next. I hate doing dishes at night when my husband gets home because I just want to spend time with him! So I choose to do them in the morning. It's nice too because it forces me to slow down. This is a nice time for quiet thoughts or music.

* I also take some time for self-care before tackling the rest of my chores. I use under-eye patches and teeth whitening strips. I can do these while I'm cleaning!

* Then, it's time for laundry! I fold and hang up my clothes. I bleach all of my white towels and wash my clothes with laundry detergent, vinegar, and borax.

* Next, I strip the sheets! I try to do this once a week and wash them before the week begins. I believe our sheets are from Target and our pillowcases are silk from Amazon.

* Not pictured is vacuuming the whole house (and finding some dead cockroaches along the way 🤢).

* Finally, I take some time to plan out my day for the rest of the day. I use the *Notebook* app because I find it easy and simple. I also like that it's connected to my phone and laptop.

* Once I've gone over my day, I get to work! Today, I worked on my devotional for my subscription box business.
