When I first started college, like so many others, I had dreams of experiencing everything that came with it—tailgates, football games, parties, and just being part of the campus life. The excitement of new experiences and friendships was something I craved. But reality hit fast.

I started college at 16, fresh out of high school after graduating as a sophomore. I had been dual-enrolled at Valencia, so by the time I stepped foot on campus for my official freshman year, I already had a few credits under my belt.
