Tips to keeping your home tidy

Let’s work on keeping our homes functional but also tidy as well! People ask me how do I keep my home clean with 2 small children & here are 3 of my recommendations:

1. Establish a daily cleaning routine: Set aside a few minutes each day to tidy up your living room. This can include tasks like fluffing pillows, folding blankets, and clearing away any clutter. By making it a habit, you'll prevent messes from piling up and maintain a tidy space.

2. Use storage solutions: Invest in storage solutions like baskets, bins, and shelves to keep items organized and out of sight. Use these storage options to store remote controls, magazines, toys, and other frequently used items. This will help reduce visual clutter and make it easier to keep your living room tidy.

3. Implement a "one in, one out" rule: For every new item you bring into your living room, remove an old or unused item. This helps prevent the accumulation of unnecessary items and keeps your living room from becoming overcrowded. Regularly assess your belongings and donate or discard items that are no longer needed.
