Hidden Neighborhood Cafe in Osaka, Japan 🇯🇵☕

I was in Japan in late June this year. Like most of you, I always disliked going to places that are overrated and preferred to explore the places myself. While in Osaka looking for breakfast, I stumbled across this hidden kissaten (coffee shop/cafe) : Marufuku (マルフク)

Here's a quick review of this coffee shop:

⭐Menu

They offer 3 types of breakfast with coffee set (￥350~￥370, about RM11.50~RM12.20). Price is super cheap, considering all things in Japan.

Portion is not too big, but I must tell you they make good coffee. The coffee is prepared pourover filter style. The cup is hot and the coffee smells and tastes superb! There is also fresh milk if you prefer milk coffee.

⭐Atmosphere

From their furnitures and their customers (middle-aged locals), you can feel the authenticity of a real Japanese morning coffee shop and neighborhood lifestyle vibes.

While we were there, we didn't see any tourists nor youngsters.

Also, the master is a grumpy oji-san (uncle /pak cik), really gives the vibe of an old-school place.
