One of the World’s 50 Best Bars found in Bangkok🥃

Looking for bars to add to the list, while bar-hopping in Bangkok? You won’t regret adding this one! 🤭

Titled one of the World’s 50 Best Bars, I had high hopes visiting Alone Together— A neighbourhood Jazz bar showcasing a revolving roster of popular local musicians accompanied by classic cocktails.

Upon entering the bar, you’ll be greeted with a cosy looking dimly lighted timber bar, transitioning you from the entrance to the main sitting area, where the stage for the live band is accompanied by a closely knitted sitting arrangement of comfortable arm chairs and low wooden tables.

#Houserule1 Once you’ve been allocated a seat, you’re not allowed to change seats, as it might distract the band during their performance.

#Houserule2 Flash photography is not allowed within the premises.

Despite the unusual house rules, it’s truly an experience like never before. I was absolutely blown away by the lead singer’s vocals (sadly I didn’t get ahold the name of the band and singer who performed) and man I felt like I was in a scene of Lala Land when the pianist and cellist had free reign to play a set. 🥹🫶🏻

The drinks were pretty strong and good too, despite it being something you can possibly find at another bar.

Here comes the catch, for those who are interested in trying cigars, they have a private lounge located on the second floor for you to relax in, if you’re looking for an alternative night out. 🤭

Truly a gem of a find, and a bar you must visit in Bangkok! 😍 The musical experience is not one where you can find in any other bars. The singer and jazz band is truly phenomenal and it takes you back to a glimpse of the good ol’ days before you were even born. However, the place might not be suitable for big groups or intense conversations.✨
