New Yorkers go nuts for a plateful of spicy rigatoni. It should be no surprise that so many restaurants now offer their own version of the trendy dish. Here are four that I can confidently recommend.
Carbone ‘s spicy rigatoni may be overhyped, but that doesn’t mean it’s bad by any means. Their noodle is chewy and perfectly al dente, and is coated in a rich, thick, spicy vodka sauce. It’s a classic for a reason.
La Pecora Bianca NoMad has an excellent rigatoni vodka. Their homemade noodle is thick and chewy, and their vodka sauce while not super spicy, is definitely solid. It’s topped with stracciatella which is a nice touch, not that it needs it. I’ve been multiple times and it’s consistently good.
Arthur and Sons NY Italian has a spicy rigatoni and the noodles and sauce are both solid. This is a great option for a larger family-style meal.
Monkey Bar has a great rigatoni vodka. Their noodle is chewy and homemade, and their sauce is heavy and creamy in the best of ways.
