A goal of mine this year has been to eat more seasonally.

I look to check each month to see what’s in season and pick a few veggies and fruits to add to my weekly grocery list. This is an easy way to add more variety into your diet.

5. It’s more environmental friendly. Seasonal eating reduces your carbon footprint. It also encourages less pesticides and preservatives.

6. It’s an easy way to increase variety in your diet.

7. Seasonal foods are often better suited to our body’s nutritional needs and potentially aid in better digestion.

Eating seasonally is another way to live life more holistically. It’s a great way to be more mindful of your food choices that align with your health and the environment.
