This is my favorite chicken burger recipe that I made at least every other week when I meal prep! I love making homemade chimichurri and when I have that, it’s what I add in. I’m all out so this is my short cut version.
For the shortcut chimichurri for this recipe you’ll need:
1/2 onion
1 bunch cilantro
1 lemon
Pulse in food processor until very finely chopped.
You’re going to add this mixture to your 2lbs of ground chicken along with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, & red pepper flakes. The amounts are up to you but I like closer to a tablespoon of each. I like my food extra seasoned.
I usually let this marinate for at least 30 minutes and then I make sliders. You can also make regular sized burgers. I like to add some mayo and lettuce and if I have it, tomato.
Sides I usually do sliced cucumbers with a little salt & sweet potato puffs/fries.
