They have a fever. Now what?!

So yes, fevers can be scary but they’re also a good thing. It means their body is working really hard to fight and attack whatever is going on. Just remember that when you want to go into freak out mode! 💗

I’m not a fan of immediately giving Tylenol. Call me crunchy but if the fever fights then I’m going to let it ride for a bit. Once it hits 103 then I’ll medicate. But I’ve noticed the quicker I’ve been in the past to bring the fever down, the higher it’s spiked at night and the longer it takes me kids to get over whatever they’ve got.

This of course is for older than 1. Babies are different and for the at I definitely go into panic mode and bring them in. Either way you know you’re child best.
