I recently decided to make little trinket trays as a date with my boyfriend but I’ve found how FUN it is to do even by yourself! I made the first one (a ghost in a kiddy pool) on our date and made the other two on my own. The clay is super inexpensive to buy and you can make a bunch with one bucket. My boyfriend made a tray too and I still have enough leftover for at least one more! That’s 5 decent sized trays from one bucket but you can probably make more if you make smaller things. I may buy a pack of clay tools from Amazon (about $10 a pack) if I choose to keep making more - but you can easily shape it with your hands. I suggest keeping a cup of water handy and using a little bit on your fingers to soften and smooth the clay out. There’s tons of tutorials on YouTube and TikTok as well if you need some extra help! Here’s a quick run down of my supplies:
• Air Dry Clay from Amazon - $11
• Acrylic Paint Pack from Michael’s ~ $10
• Paint Brush Pack from Michael’s ~ $5
I also bought E6000 glue so I can attach my bumblebee to the flower once it’s painted. I hope you try this super fun and easy craft!
