decided to wake up at 5:45ish to make these bad boys. and they were super duper yummy. i’ve seen it all over my pinterest so i decided to try it myself. if you’ve got 3 hrs to put aside and wanna try to make, info is below ⬇️

Ingredients:

👩🏽‍🍳rolls:

3 c flour

1 1/4 tsp instant yeast or 1 packet

1 whole egg and 1 egg yolk

1/4 c melted butter

3/4 c warm milk

1/4 c granulated sugar

🤎filling:

2/3 c brown sugar

1 1/2 tbsp cinnamon

1/4 c butter, softened

🤍icing:

2 c powdered sugar

4 tbsp milk

4 tbsp melted butter

2 tsp vanilla

Instructions:

1. In a bowl, mix warm milk and yeast and store until mixed well and let it rest for 3-5 mins.

2. Mix melted butter and egg and egg yolk, and sugar. mix well.

3. add flour and mix with wooden spoon until mixture because dough.

4. knead dough for 8-10 minutes (if you push your finger and the dough leaves the dimple keep kneading until it bounces back at you) either with a stand up mixer with a hook or by hand. ~ i knead it with the mixer first and then i went by hand on a flour covered surface~

5. in a well oiled pan leave your dough in the bowl to proof for an hour or till it’s doubled in size. cover bowl with plastic wrap and a warm towel.

6. on a well floured counter, roll dough out to around 9x12 size.

7. with semi melted or soft butter rub onto dough and leave the edge empty to help seal the edges better

8. in a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon and by hand spread all over.

9. roll dough tightly together and try to squeeze edges together to keep everything in.

10. cut into 1ish inch with floss (if you got mint floss. sit it in hot water for a couple mins. it’ll lessen the minty-ness).

11. preheat oven to 350. sit rolls in a 9x9 pan or 9” cake pan (or whatever pan that fits the amount rolls you cut tbh). let them sit and proof for 30-40 mins.

12. bake at 350 for 20-30 mins (depending on your oven) until golden but still a little mushy.

13. once done baking. let it sit and then pour icing over it.

icing:

1. in a small bow mix powdered, milk, melted butter, and vanilla.

2. whisk until smooth. and pour over cinnamon rolls once they’re cooled.
