✫ At this rate, I think there are even more reviews that I forgot to write even tho already shot the pictures. I was just scrolling my gallery when I found this shot of Inkling that I took right after I finished reading it on March LAST YEAR. 🤡

✫ I'm pretty much disqualified to do a full review about it so I'm just going to point out random stuffs I remember from the book.

✫ Firstly, i'm very proud to read yet another local author's work. Afrina's debut book was a collection of short stories full of metaphors and wisdom. It's that type of book that you'll have to sit down and ponder upon after reading it - which was amazing. I personally think, if you take your time reading, this book might just be THE book that could alter your brain chemistry.

✫ I have a love-hate relationship with short stories bcs often times I won't be able to connect with the characters. Due to the length, it's almost always not easy to explore more on the character development. Although I didn't hate this book, I wanted more.

Which is why I should read Not Here to Stay - I believe this book is going to explore one of the short stories and I can't wait!

✫ All in all, you should definitely give this book a try. It's pretty short so it can be the book to take you out off your reading slump.
