Different kind of math review game!

A few clips from today’s review for our state test! Are you able to guess what we did?

Today, we played Pick It, a game shared by @heywadeking! The students rubbed Vaseline on their noses and with ONLY their nose, had to grab a question to bring back to their small group to solve.

Students had to work together to answer the question correctly, and once I verified their answer, the students earned a point. We switch it up this time and the first team to 10 won.

I haven’t been able to play this game since pre-pandemic 2019 and to say my students were obsessed would be a literal understatement. They said it was the best day of math all year!

This game was super simple because I printed off assessment items on on different colored paper, cut the questions to separate, then each team was assigned a color to go after. The rigor was still their and the engagement was high! 🤩⁣
