My In Laws Opinions On Our Relationship

I just wanted to say that Jordan’s family isn’t racist but they of course, had their opinions on our interracial relationship from the beginning.

Background Story: Jordan’s family is from the South and his grandparents are from Alabama 😳👀 I know ! Lol.

Here was their opinions:

✨Grandparents:

Jordan showed his grandparents a photo I sent him from Hooters 🤦🏽‍♀️ ( Don’t know why he did that 😒😫, but said that was the only pic he had of me at the time) Now, seeing a that picture naturally his grandma said “are you sure, she works at Hooters. Be careful” Which I get it! Over the year I grew closer to his Grandma until her passing. She was a very sweet and lovely lady that ment everything to Jordan and did so much as a matriarchy for her family. I’m soo happy she got to know me!

✨Father:

Jordan and his father are not close but he did tell me what he thought about me when we first met! When I came to Texas for the first time in 2016 to visit his family for the first time, he had his reservations. He said “ Jordan never brought a girl home. But he never thought it was as serious as it was”. 😳 I mean I get it, but if someone is flying with your son to meet family , I think it’s as serious as it gets to me !

✨Mother:

Jordan’s mom was always sweet with me from the beginning! I remember meeting her and his 3 other siblings at the time for dinner at her house. She made me coffee( which I never drank at the time, but hers was good😍) and had nice long conversations with everyone. From the jump, she always mentioned on getting things for me or what I would like. It’s like we connected already! She was always sweet but I know when Jordan mentioned that I was black she wasn’t surprised 😂 His family always thought he was black but he was just dipped in white paint growing up lol.
