Ranking my favorite Sol de Janeiro body creams

Everybody knows and loves Sol de Janeiro.

Personally, I’m more of a body oil girly in the summer because thick body butters and creams tend to be kind of heavy and interfere with my sensory issues when it’s hot.

But I love a good body cream and thick body butter in the fall and winter months! SDJ delivers every time I’m in the mood for a good moisturizing body cream.

And the benefits and scents? Unmatched.

Sol de Janeiro is obviously pricier than your average body cream but I love using mine for a little treat on one of my everything shower nights! Really adds that spa like touch to the experience.

Here are my ratings:

• Bom Dia Bright Cream - Rated #1 because I really adore the smell of this one. It smells like the Cheirosa 40 mist and if you know me, you know I’m obsessed with that mist. I need to get this scent in all the products tbh because it smells soooo amazing. It smells similar to Vanilla Woods by The 7 Virtues but even deeper and sweeter. Plus it’s super smoothing and the smell and moisture lasts so long on my skin. To die for!!

⭐️Overall rating: 12/5

• Bum Bum Cream - Comes in at #2 because of the classic nutty vanilla and sweet caramel scent. It’s lickable, delightful, and perfect for all seasons! Not the most moisturizing of the 3 but definitely gets points for smell!

• Delicia Drench Body Butter - Rated #3 not because it’s bad in anyway, but because the scent of this one cannot beat Bom Dia Bright imo. This one has a lighter, more subtle vanilla floral scent. Some people compare it to yogurt or sweet cream which I get. This one is fairly moisturizing and has a thicker consistency than the others, which a lot of people love. It’s great for days when I don’t want an overwhelming scent bubble.
