Home Recipe ​🥘Recipe & description: A very simple pork katsu recipe to be made at home in 20minutes.

Servings: 3/4 Pax​

Prep time & total time:​ 10mins prep + 20mins to cook

Main Ingredients:​

- 300g pork chop

- Bread crumbs

- Potato Starch

- 1/2 eggs

Ingredients for marinating the pork:

- 1 tbsp oyster sauce

- 1 tbsp light soya sauce

- 1 tbsp dark soya sauce

- 1 tbsp hua tiao wine (optional)

- a dash of white pepper

- some garlic powder

Methods:

1) Slightly pound your all pork chop with the back of your knife before marinating.

2) After pounding, throw in all the mention marination ingredients to your pork chop and marinate them at least 30mins. (but I prefer to marinate them overnight 😂)

3) Next, prepare 3 bowls for all your ingredients (potato starch, bread crumbs & egg)

4) Firstly, coat your marinated pork chop with potato starch.

5) Secondly, egg wash your pork chop.

6) Thirdly, dump it into the bowl of bread crumbs and cover them fully with it! Don’t be stingy! 🤣

7) Lastly, just throw into the boiling hot oil to deep fry it.

AND YOU MAY SERVE NOW! 🤩🤩🤩

Side note: You can cook a pot of Japanese curry to eat with these fabulous piece of pork that you cook ok.

My kids love this pork katsu.

Total cost to make: Around $10 la. Can eat until shiokkkkkkk.
