Surabaya snacks must try 🇮🇩 Emping Melinjo

Hi everyone m, I’m Kara and today I want to share one of my favorite snacks from Indonesia 🇮🇩 My aunty from Indonesia bought me this emping when she visit Malaysia.

I really love this emping which is sweet spicy taste 🌶️ you still can see there’s some dry chili on the emping and it looks spicy but actually it won’t !

Emping is an Indonesian traditional chips made from Gnetum gnemon seeds from Central Java. It was flattened manually and sun-dried to result a perfect crunch of the chips. Emping Melinjo has an umami taste with almost 0 bitter aftertaste.

This emping is crispy and you find it’s hard to stop eating it when you start eating 😂 it’s really a good snacks during study time or movie time.

And I love the design of packaging because you can just zip it when you can’t finish it 👍🏻
