I love love love The Ordinary 🤩

They’re affordable and work great on my skin! I’ve repurchased all of these items for about 3-5 years now. I stopped using a few, on and off throughout the years but I always notice a difference in my skin about 5-6 months in and I go back to purchase.

The strengths I use for most of these serums are pretty high, so I don’t use them every single day (unless stated in the directions to use every day and night) as to not damage my skin barrier.

Glycolic Acid 7%- a water based toner. Evens your skin tone & smooths out texture. If you use it as a deodorant you will not smell anymore + it helps SO well with lightening dark armpits, and can reduce scalp dryness as well! Better to only use in the evening. (But I use it in the AM, along with moisturizer and sunscreen)

Lactic Acid 10%- a high strength exfoliate. Helps amazingly with skin texture. Is a water based serum, only to be used at night!! I treat this serum like a retinol: it’s strong and the next day I make sure to wear sunscreen (even if I’m staying home that day)

Niacinamide 10%- a water based serum. Can use morning and night! Legit amazing for (my) acne prone skin since it’s great at controlling sebum production and it tightens your enlarged pores!!

Caffeine Solution 5%- another water based serum! Is awesome at depuffing my under eyes and lightening my dark circles. Can use morning and night!

Azelaic Acid 10%- helps with acne prone skin & to improve texture. Should be the second to last step in your skincare routine, right before putting on your sunscreen. Can use morning and night! (I only use it in the AM along with sunscreen)

If I could only pick 1 to use forever, it would 100% be the glycolic acid! It has been the most helpful at reduces the dark spots on my face and lightening my armpits. It’s multifunctional and will be a staple in my skincare routine until they (hopefully don’t) discontinue it!
