My Husband and I traveled here for our honeymoon! We paid for all inclusive resort at the Riu Hotel - Macao. The staff there was so friendly and helpful with everything. We had our bed made every morning and set every night, fresh linens, and always was handed a fresh drink. The mini bar in our room, however, was never refilled as much as we wanted, but besides that, it was amazing. In the Republic you want to always carry a wad of singles on you to tip the staff for everything they do to get greater service. The currency difference is different so $1 is alot for them. Besides the staff and rooms, there was three heated pools, where one was pool bar. They had fun games and event each day and night to participate in. the beach was close and beautiful. There was also 5 different restaurants on the resort you could choose from. Each one a different type of cuisine. There was also a Spa and casino on the resort. We did a couples massage, which was more pricey but amazing. Alot of the extras was more expensive than you'd see here in the U.S. We did get to also do two excursions which was Ziplining and a Snorkeling cruise where you swam with fish, stingrays and sharks! It was a very cool experience. Overall, this was my first time out of the country and I was nervous but I felt safe and comfortable. we went in the middle of August so the temperature was in the 90s but I would definitely visit again!
