Simple things to make a home feel luxurious pt.1

These are my favorite simple ways of making my home feel luxurious pt.1:

Scent

- the first thing a person notices about a home and thus one of the most powerful things to implement. There are plenty of options, my go to ones are scented candles and diffusers. I use reed diffusers for a mild background scent in my bathrooms and entry ways, whereas oil diffusers for a more pronounced scent in the living room or kitchen. I like to keep the bedroom scent free, but that’s just a personal preference.

High quality and recognizable personal care items

- these will be items that are visible to guests and are permanently kept outside of the cupboards. These include soaps, hand cream in the bathroom for guests to use, aesthetic dish soap, etc. Most of the time these will be branded items as they just tend to have the aesthetic that I’m looking for but the look is what matters here and how it completes the feel that I am going for.
