Why our sex life suffered

Me and my boyfriend have been together for 7 years, and in the beginning, our sexual life was great, we learned about each other and what we wanted, but as the years went on, life started to get more in the way. We congested our lives with a lot of plans involving friends, work, and other activities that left us with very little time or energy for the bedroom. We started to try to schedule out sex and it was HORRIBLE. It eliminated the passion, and was not romantic enough for me.

We started to argue a lot more the longer our sex life suffered, and let the arguments prohibited us from wanting to get intimate. It got more and more difficult to try to have good sex without feeling passion or true intimacy.

With being busy, arguing, and less passion in sex we stopped flirting with each other and that made it WORSE.

All these factors built up and we eventually really stopped and had an honest talk about what we needed to do to salvage our sex life. Because of of this, we finally hit the restart button, and since then we have recovered and now know the signs so we do not make the same mistakes!!
