Turning 33 feels like such a blessing, and I'm truly grateful to have made it this far. As I grow older, I’ve come to see each day as a gift and a privilege. Over the past year, I've found myself grappling with thoughts about time—wondering if there’s enough of it and becoming more aware of my mortality and that of the people I love, especially the older generations. I sometimes fear losing those closest to me, knowing that life is unpredictable. But I've made a promise to myself to stop letting these intrusive thoughts take hold. Instead, I’m committed to praying and affirming that I will live a long, healthy, and fulfilling life surrounded by the people I cherish.

I’ve chosen to embrace gratitude over fear, and while it’s a work in progress, it’s a shift I’m determined to make. I know that talking about these things can be difficult because it’s a scary topic, but I want you to know that if you’ve had similar thoughts, you’re not alone. I love my life and the people in it so much that I want to have these moments with them forever. My friends joke that, because I was born on 8/8 (Lion’s Gate portal opened) at 4:44 pm, I’m a walking manifestation. So I remind myself to walk in purpose, being mindful of my thoughts and words—because they are powerful. I’m trying to remind myself, it’s okay to feel these emotions, but it’s important not to dwell on them.
