iPhone HACK: Tap the Apple feature

iPhone is known for its ease of access and accessibility features, but here’s one you may not know.

The Apple emblem on the back of your phone is more than a decoration. It actually has a secondary feature. When set up, the apple becomes a “button” and can do a variety of tasks for you quickly with a double or triple tap.

Here’s how it works.

Open Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Back Tap (toggle on)

Select a function for the double tap or triple tap (or both!)

You have a variety of functions to choose from including opening the camera, taking a screenshot, turning on the flashlight, or summoning Siri. In fact, there are over 45 tasks you can choose from!

Once you’ve set it up, simply double tap or triple tap the Apple on the back of your phone and watch the magic happen. It even works with the thickest case, you just might need to tap a bit harder.

Not a fan of the feature? Easily disable it by turning off Back Tap.
