I VISITED THE LINDT HOME OF CHOCOLATE🍫🇨🇭

One of the things I was most excited to do in Zurich was visit the Lindt Home of Chocolate. It's definitely a MUST VISIT during your time in Zurich but make sure you get tickets in advance because it's super popular!

We spent about an hour going through the interactive exhibits on cultivation of the cocoa bean, history of chocolate consumption, process of chocolate production, and how Switzerland revolutionized the chocolate industry!

The idea of mixing chocolate with milk to create milk chocolate was born in Switzerland in 1875. A few years later, Rodolphe Lindt (of Lindt & Sprüngli) invented a machine to churn chocolate along with cocoa butter, sugar, and milk to make it smooth and creamy.

Aaaaand yes that is a real 30 foot chocolate fountain in the first photo!
