LOCAL KIHEI FOOD RECS IN MAUI

I’ve been coming to Maui since I was just 6 years old! This island is my home away from home, and somewhere that has become so special to me! I just got back from my trip last week and have so many new recommendations for food!

1. Beach Street Maui Shaved Ice - this place is the best go to for morning coffee, breakfast bagels, and quick breakfast items! I go here almost every morning because it’s such an easy & convenient walk! Especially if you stay at a resort right in Kihei! I even made a trip there mid day to take a break from beach time to snag an afternoon açaí bowl! 😋 Highly recommend!

2. Da Green Coffee Bar - this place is literally a magical hidden jungle that you would never know is there unless someone told you, or you got lucky enough to stumble upon it! The coffee is amazing and they have an INCREDIBLE variety of different avocado toasts! I’d recommend this place over and over again! Side note: there are tons of tables & seating available to hang out at! You can also walk through the jungle and it’s so peaceful at all times of day!

3. Blue Door Bread Company - Easily the best pizza in the island, at least that I’ve had! It’s located adjacent to Da Green Coffee Bar! They also have delicious artisan sandwiches and breakfast items that include delicious pastries!

4. The Food Trucks - located in the back of the jungle at Da Green Coffee Bar! They’re all delicious and you truly can’t go wrong with coming here for lunch!

5. Local Farmers Market - I chose to go here for local chips, guacamole, salsa, and other fruit! It supports the local farmers and is so fresh! They have other bread items and local made foods! They also have tons of souvenir items too!
