I’m 30 and I have no idea who I am

I wrote this as I looked at my life and saw that I have everything I wanted but I hate how I look and feel about myself. Sometimes I don’t know if I can win with how my brain works.

I am an echo of voices

I cannot distinguish which one is my own

People make me feel like I'm doing everything wrong

Or maybe it's just all in my head

I look at my anthology of lives, and I don't recognize myself in any of them

The bull who charged through life to get what she wanted

The princess that owned herself and sparkled

The weeping willow that was weighed down by her branches

I am a shadow of all of them

Trying to attach myself to their presence only to disappear in the sun

I know we are not the same

But then who am I
