Staying in South West Ireland

Staying out in a "country" area was the best choice we could have made. We were surrounded by farms and beautiful views, and there was a pub in walking distance that was about as authentic as it gets.

If you enjoy the quiet country side and opt for renting a car, this is the way to do it.

We had a fantastic experience and the views around the house were amazing. The local pubs were great family owned establishments, and everyone was friendly.

One night we sat with a local and he talked to us for 3 hours about things to do/places to see.

if you're thinking about planning a trip to Ireland - do it !!!!
