Marble and Travertine - Two of my favorite materials and I am so happy they are so popular. Travertine is my personal fav right now. What I love most about these materials, is they really are perfect in any home. These materials are perfect to elevate any space. They can also be subtle or they can make a statement why I love them. You can add small touches of marble or travertine, or you can add a bold marble table, both of which always look so pretty. Travertine coffee tables are very popular right now and my absolute favorite coffee tables out there right now. I dream about the day where I decide to splurge (and drain my bank account) and get one for our home. I also have my eye on a small buffet marble table from CB2 that I think would be the perfect way to elevate our entryway space.

Faux Florals -

I have found that faux florals are loved by some and hated by others. I personally love them, and have a variety of faux floral and stems in our home. As much as I love faux florals, I do think it is important to invest in these pieces in order to avoid a “cheap” look. I went down the dangerous path of purchasing my first Afloral stems and now I can never look back. They’re definitely on the pricer said but they look so real and are worth the investment.
