Adirondack hikes to add to your bucket list

OK Slip Falls + Ross Pond

These two hikes can be done together. They are located in the Hudson Gorge Wilderness Area. It is 6 miles round trip to reach the falls and back, with a bit of extra hiking to reach the viewpoint. If you want to do the Falls and Ross Pond it will be about 12 miles.

Nick’s Lake

An easy stroll around the gorgeous Nick’s Lake in Old Forge. A great beginner hike with amazing views at sunset.

Deer Pond

A 7-mile loop (and one of my favorites). The trailhead is located just outside of Tupper Lake in the Adirondacks. Relatively flat but super scenic hike.

Mount Marcy

One of the high peaks in the Adirondacks, this one is a gem. 15 miles, 3,000 ft elevation gain and a whole lot of incredible views.
