Local Coffee Shop Muffins in the West!!🧁

today I was visiting my ah ma and i chanced upon Ah B Bakery at:

📍Address: Kedai Kopi Coffee Shop at Bukit Gombak.

after eating lunch, I noticed that there were loads of aunties queueing at this new bakery around the coffee shop. so of course being the kiasu auntie I am, I decided to join the queue and got the orh nee, red velvet custard, ondeh ondeh and matcha red bean muffins! 🧁 I also got the milk danish as a gift for my bf ~ 😚

now for the verdict!! upon cutting upon the muffins (pic 3), my mum, ah ma and I shared a piece each.

🍠 for the orh nee muffins, we felt that the orh nee was more of a yam paste and didn't have much coconut flavour that usually gives the original orh nee dessert a creamy coconutty consistency. the muffin texture on the other hand honestly tasted more like a butter cake (6/10)

💚 BUT we really really enjoyed the ondeh ondeh muffin! the muffin top was sprinkled with abit of coconut flakes and the inside had a generous filling of brown sugar coconut flakes!! 🤩🤤 the muffin dense cake-like texture had a pandan flavour to it which complimented really well with the brown sugar coconut flakes! (8/10)

after eating the remaining slices, we were too stuffed and will review the other muffins at a later date hehe 🐽

I wanted to buy the apple crumble and chocolate lava muffins but they were sold out :((

Total Damage 💸 : One muffin was $2.50 and they're having a promo with their muffins! Buy 5 get 1 free!! hohoho 😚 whereas their milk danish was $3.50

they have other outlets at Woodleigh mall, Woodgrove mall, Bukit Merah centre and Alexandra Village Hawker Centre!! so if y'all are around the neighbourhood and feeling bored of the usual basic ✨ flavours, grab the ondeh ondeh muffin! (and let me know if the apple crumble is worth getting ahahaha)
