So I use to drink alcohol and not a big person I’m about 4,9 and 112 pounds I use to drink a lot for my size which doesn’t take much I realized cutting out alcohol was not only a whole vibe but also beneficial to me especially after I became allergic to wine which made the entire quitting period a lot easier to accomplish (plus both of my parents were alcoholics and that was a generational curse that absolutely HAD to be broken)

But that wasn’t the point of this post. The point is I gave up a bad habit for another. I started drinking milkshakes instead of alcohol (I can’t tolerate that much lactose) so that didn’t work so I instead started drinking Dr Pepper and that was it! I mean it that was literally it that’s how i “hydrated” I never drank water unless I absolutely HAD too and I noticed it didn’t help the anxiety that I had

So I made the plunge to cut out sodas entirely now it’s only water or I use the sugar free flavored packets

(I’m not using syrups and sometimes I don’t even use the whole packets as it’s too much flavor for me)

It may not be a crazy change to some but I found out by cutting out soda I also have no urges to eat sugary things like cookies or brownies

I also found that cutting out the soda, I don’t want any fast food which is a blessing because I would spend wayyyy more on door dash and fast food than I’d like to admit

Something I’ve found is I’m a lot hungrier not so much before eating but while I’m eating before I use to eat like a few bites and I was full now I’m eating a full course meal it feels like (if you didn’t know drinking sodas suppresses appetite)

I’ve noticed my hair and skin looks healthier by like ALOT too
