Nighttime photography for iPhone

Last night I pointed the moon out to my dad and told him I was going to take a picture (second photo). Once I took it he immediately asked to see it and I was EMBARRASSED by the result 😂 I showed him and told him it didn’t photograph well… but then I remembered an old TikTok tutorial I watched where the person lowered the brightness in the camera app after focusing and before snappinf the picture. I tried it and 😭😭😭😭 the result was so overwhelming. I was upset I had never done this before because I am completely obsessed with the moon (I even have a tattoo of the moon phases) and there were so many times I wasn’t able to capture its beauty in a photo! I am glad I learned and remembered this tool and will most definitely be using it a lot in the future.

Side note: the 100% full moon was this morning at around 0600 and this photo was taken last night at 2115
