Birthday Trip in Miami, FL

Last month, I went to Miami for my 24th birthday and when I tell you, it was a TRIP! First it was hot as LITERAL HELL and the driving is atrocious. Our Lyft driver was even involved in a hit and run with us in the car. It was my first time on a plane and takeoff was so interesting. I’m from Atlanta and worked at the airport before so it was nothing new except TSA took my body wash because I forgot it wasn’t travel sized 🤦🏾‍♀️. The districts were cool to walk around in but that was pretty much it. Hollywood Beach was nice and very active. It was my first time being on an active pier so I seen skating, food places everywhere, and live concerts. The food places could be hit or miss, I’ve been to Bartaco here in Atlanta but didn’t stay long enough to get anything so we tried it and although I’m not a fan of the tacos, the Piscine was amazing. I loved this Cuban restaurant we hit up in Sunny Isles. I got steak and chimichurri there and it was so good. The best thing I had was Pastinos. It was customizable pasta and the staff waited for us and stayed past closing. The food was fresh, steaming, and homemade. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We also took a trip down to the casino where I cut my losses at losing $20. Overall it was a nice trip but the main objective was to see Kehlani and she cancelled the concert due to Hurricane Helene. #trip #lemon8challenge #birthday trip #miamitrip #miamiitinerary
